If you are interested in doing your part for charity and wish to help out in our project, you may choose to volunteer at the street sale sessions or as a volunteer to pack the fruits before the sale. DO CHECK BACK FOR MORE UPDATES! =D

SUN SHINE YOUR HEART
We are a group of innovative and passionate teenagers who come together with a common goal --- to make a difference, creatively.

We are going to raise funds for our VWO, the Singapore Cancer Society through the street sales of exquisitely-packaged fruits (apple, orange and pear) and cute fruit-themed badges. The fruits will be decorated with smiley stickers, accompanied by a note with encouraging messages or important health tips.


OUR AIMS
1. Raise $10000 for Singapore Cancer Society (SCS)
2. Promote awareness of the prevention of cancer to at least 5000 students and members of the public
3. Promote awareness of the aims of the SCS and the activities SCS engage in to help cancer patients
4. Inspire other youths to step up to help the community through their own initiatives
5. Educate the public about the ways they can help the society in return
6. To increase significance of voluntary community work in the public’s eye.
7. Give hope to the cancer patients and make a difference in their lives
8. To allow the public to understand the hardships that cancer patients have to go through so that the public will learn to cherish their lives and whatever they have

BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT
1. The beneficiaries will benefit as the funds we collected will be given to them to fund their activities to help cancer patients
2. Cancer patients may see more hope in their lives as they realize that there is kindness in the society
3. The society will become more health conscious; therefore they will be motivated to adopt preventive measures against illnesses.
4. The emotional well being of children with cancer and their families will be improved.
